Voltasym as a cascadable balancing system in a 19-inch table rack

Voltasym is the new modular cell balancing system from Voltavision for precise and automated voltage measurement and balancing of cells in battery modules or cell racks - especially for use in test benches. This makes it more than just a replacement for the BMS, as it significantly increases the safety and validity of cell and module tests.

It consists of modular balancing units, each with 16 galvanically isolated channels for systems with up to 160 cells per DUT and an associated communication unit per DUT.

The system actively balances the cell voltages before and during the tests, enabling targeted optimisation of cell performance and service life.

The system can be flexibly integrated into test environments via open interfaces. Thanks to its flexible design, it can be individually expanded (e.g. with integrated temperature measurement technology) and adapted to different test requirements.
